WOW! What a crazy 2 days its been! As for now, this teacher is way too tired to update, but I promise, pictures of my classroom will be up this weekend!! I'm off to sleep so I will be ready for day 2 of visitations tomorrow! Cant wait to meet the other half of my class!!

Look at me go!!
You are seeing this correctly!! 2 days in a row?! I told you I'm trying!! After day 2 of teacher workdays, im exhausted!! Since we had a two and a half hour staff meeting, it didnt give us much time to work in our classrooms! Amy and I stayed after to try to knock some stuff out but it just seems like we have so much to do! It doesnt really help that I keep having all new ideas and visions for our classroom, which will make it awesome, but we are on a time schedule here and I'm not sure if it will all be done by Thursday! Yikes! As soon as I left school, I went and got a TON of felt fabric to make one of these visions that I have decided I want to create. Then I went and got some cheap picture frames which I am painting right now! So much to do, so little time! Of course, I'm making some time to venture to Foothills Trivia tonight! Hopefully I wont be too exhausted in the morning. Oh well, yolo right? (you only live once)

Oops.
Ok, I failed. My first year of teaching and blogging was an epic failure...well the blogging part...not the teaching part. As my second year starts, I am promising to be better at this. I could go back and talk about last year, but honestly it would take me months to even scratch the surface. So we will start from here.
I turned the big 2-4 a week ago. Yikes!! As I celebrated my birthday with the best friends and family I realized how blessed I am. As much as I dislike getting older, I couldnt ask for anyone better to get old with! Now, I am working diligently in my classroom in preparation for visitations from my babies later this week! Something about fresh bulletin boards just makes me smile. I am SO excited to meet this years polkadots.
As for now, this teacher is sleepy after her first workday after a long summer! Bed time is calling my name!!
